Greetings from the Beautiful Oregon Coast!!!
I am still in Newport, working full time at the elementary school until Friday the 25th. As some of you know I was asked to do a long-term substitute assignment for the month of January. It was a great opportunity to work in the same building for almost 4 weeks. Judy Kinney, the teacher I am subbing for, is in Argentina on the Extreme Nazarene work and witness team while I am in her classroom. Judy found out that she would need a substitute the day after she found out I would be home for part of January. It is amazing how God works. I am working for her so she can volunteer her time in South America, making money so that I can go back to South America. I keep telling people I am not amazed THAT God takes care of me but I am amazed at HOW He takes care of me.
So what’s up?
I am returning to Venezuela the 28th of January, I leave the 28th and arrive the 29th (It is going to be a long day!). As soon as I get back we jump right in to our 5 district assemblies in 5 weekends. Then in March we will host the Mt. Vernon University work and witness team for ‘Semana Santa’ and Easter.
I am excited to be getting back to Venezuela!!
Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare to leave and transition back into Venezuelan culture.
Blessings!
