Graduation!

I am graduating Monday! I am turning over the computer program(PETRA) I have worked on for over 7 years. PETRA, an access program that keeps track of student grades, has been my project for quite awhile. It has helped the district education director’s plan for future classes and encouraged students to keep working on their degrees. God has been so good to give me the knowledge I needed to work on this program. He is so amazing, there were times when I did something to make the program work and had NO idea how I did it or anyway to do it again. PETRA signifies MANY hours of work, frustration, prayer, and blessings... So Monday, when the actual program is passed to the new people who will be in charge of student records it will be a moment like graduation. No fancy, caps and gowns or pieces of paper with formal signatures, but I have the knowledge that I finished the task I was given.
